Case Corti­na is con­vinced that mean­ing is not just con­sti­tut­ed by the use of under­stand­able words and lin­guis­tic con­struc­tion: any kind of acoustic mate­r­i­al can con­tribute to the cre­ation of mean­ing. Musi­cal dimen­sion in words and field record­ings and lin­guis­tic infor­ma­tion in music are ana­lyzed, recom­bined, over­layed and put into fric­tion try­ing to unfold and dis­cov­er masked mean­ings in con­crete and abstract sounds.
